ಈ ಚಾನೆಲ್ ಬಿಳಿಗಿರಿರಂಗನ ಬೆಟ್ಟ, ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸೋಲಿಗರು/ಸೋಲೆಗರು ಜನಾಂಗದವರಿಂದ ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ವೀಡಿಯೋಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ವೀಡಿಯೋಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಪರಿಸರ ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕøತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಣಗಳ/ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಚಾನೆಲ್ಗೆ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವವರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಬುಡಕಟ್ಟು ಗಿರಿಜನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಂಘ, ಪುನರ್ಚಿತ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಹಾಗೂ ರೈನ್ ಮ್ಯಾಟರ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಷನ್.
2009 ರ ಇಸವಿಯಿಂದ ಸೋಲಿಗ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಜೊತೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಡಾ. ಆಂಗ್ ಸಿ ಈ ಚಾನೆಲ್ಗೆ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರಾಗಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. This channel showcases community videos created by and involving the Solega/Soliga people of the Biligirirangan Hills (B. R. Hills) of Karnataka State, India. The videos focus on traditional ecological knowledge, as well as depictions of important cultural events. The channel is supported by the Zilla Budakattu Girijana Abhivrudhi Sangha, Punarchith and Rainmatter Foundation. Dr Aung Si who has been collaborating with the community since 2009, is an advisor. |
