Abstract |
The article reflects on the lives of Hindu peasants in Nepal and adivasi peasants in Jharkhand, India. It discusses the author's experience with these people, their culture and religion. It argues that adivasis and peasants do not get their food from the grocery store, but they get it from farms, forests, rivers and wetlands.
