Abstract |
An exhibition of contemporary Indian adivasi art is being shown at “Autres maîtres de I'lnde. Creations contemporaines des Adivasi,” an exhibition at the Musée du quai Branly, Paris, from March 30 to July 18, 2010. This is a form of popular art practiced by the adivasi or tribal peoples of India. Increasingly, its most famous exponents such as Jivya Soma Mashe and Jangarh Singh Syam are commanding attention from international art galleries. More information is available at www.quaibranly.fr.
